Thank you for being a member of TRPC this year, I truly hope you have had a great summer on the water whether it was in a dragon boat, rowing or paddling.

We are able to extend our season into September but it will be at reduced hours so for all you water enthusiasts out there you will still have a chance to get out and enjoy your sport of choice.

Tomorrow (Friday, August 30) is Meghan’s last day so please join me in wishing her well as she returns to college in September, she has done a fantastic job for us this summer.  You can reach her at info@trentonrowingandpaddling.ca or by leaving comments on our Facebook page.

Debby is going to take over opening up the boathouse for you to use the equipment on Saturdays and Sundays in September, please see the new schedule.

Cheryll is going to continue to get Electra off the dock in September with the help of her amazing crew.  Thank you Cheryll for coaching, your team has really grown this year.  Thanks also to  Angela and Tiffany in supporting Cheryll and coordinating with new members.  Next week there will be Dragon boating on Wednesday September 4 only and after that it will be every Monday in September so long as the weather cooperates, check our Facebook page before heading out to ensure there are no weather cancellations.

Thank you to Christian, Lucie and Beth for running the Learn to Row sessions this summer and for welcoming the new rowers to our club and ensuring they know how to access the equipment.  It is great to see the growth in our rowing program this season.

Tonight Mike will lead his last group paddle of the season so if you have not had a chance to join one yet this year this is your last chance.  A big thank you to Mike, Adrienne and Debby for volunteering to lead our paddles this summer, I know our members appreciate having the opportunity to get out on the water with some experienced paddlers.

Thanks again for a terrific season, we are planning a member BBQ in September so watch for that invite coming soon and I know we will have an end of season get together later this fall.
