During the first 3 weeks, Coaches and Captains will determine which practice time you will paddle. Teams can change based on skills and fitness levels throughout the season.
5:45-6:45pm – this practice will be for skilled paddlers who have the endurance for long distance and race pace practices.
7-8pm – this practice will be for paddlers who are working on the development of the stroke and working towards endurance paddles.
Coaches and Captains will be choosing these teams based on skill, commitment, and fitness level.
We would like to work towards building a team to enter into regattas. We look forward to working with everyone to determine where everyone fits in comfortably
Dress appropriately and layer for warmth. Be prepared for some splash. Wear a hat and bring your water bottle. Washrooms are available at the Marina. Paddles and PFD’s are available but you are welcome to use your own.
